There be crime on the road: Be alert to Tricks
The jostle, the hustle, at exits and entries
People drop coins, ask for change, borrow a pen
A suitcase distraction spills clothes on the floor.
Being asked directions or bumped in line
Might be a staged performance….or not. Be aware.

Beware vulnerable moments: yakking on a cell,
Eating, checking tickets, counting money and time
Survey the check in counter, the money changers, the newsstand and duty free
While you're shopping for single malt, are your possessions out the door? 

Travel with few items
Proceed to secure areas faster and wait.
Thieves work in groups, they distract, take and pass the loot 
Put your cash inside coat or a zipped pocket.
Rear pockets are for suckers. So are purses and fanny packs.
Rubber band around your wallet causes friction.
You'll feel the being robbed

Put your money inside a zipped pocket in purse
Spread your cash around, in your shoes and under there.
Close the bags, buckle the straps, snap the latches. Zip it up.
Lower the profile – no jewels, no logos, no ballcaps from Saudi ball games.
Carry minimal cash and old luggage.
