Discussion of today's travel writing markets, how to break into travel writing. Can you elevate your profile through conventional networking, social media, and a travel blog? Writing workshop covers character sketches and advancing the narrative through encounters with people. Bring a travel journal to the workshop. Location: Towson University, University Union, 8000 York Road, Towson, Md. Conference fees range from $75 to $95 for the entire day. Discounts for students and early registration.
